Course Description
Silo Ridge offers two very distinct 9 hole
layouts. The front nine is relatively wide open with generous
landing areas. Errant shots may find tall native grass that is
virtually unplayable. This grass can be found on #3, #4, #6,
#8, and #9. Players generally find the front nine to be the
easier side despite having two of the most difficult holes in the
entire area: #5 a long par 3 with trouble on both sides and #7
a long par 4 with fairway bunkers and out of bounds on both sides.
The back 9 also features native grass that comes into play on #10,
#12, #15, and #16. Accompanying the native grass are several
tree lined fairways, water hazards, and out of bounds. The
back 9 is by no means target golf but does require more accuracy off
the tee than the front nine.
Both sides offer players challenging greens notorious for extreme
speed and tough hole locations. Silo Ridge has small landing
areas on the greens due to the two-tier greens. The golf
course is almost always in great shape through the toughest of
weather conditions. Expect great greens, thick rough, and lush
bermuda fairways. Currently, we are adding approximately 60
yards to the championship tees to allow the course to measure 6900
yards from the middle of the back tees.
